Issues
My Platform
John Beatty for SC House District 58
#1 - Having National Developers increase the funds they contribute towards infrastructure, by the way of impact fees.

#2 - Medical Freedom. We should never again be locked down, traced, denied religious liberty, forced to use medical device nor be punished, in any way, for refusing untested and/or experimental treatments.

#3 - The total ban of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC’s) used as legal tender in the State of South Carolina.

#4 - The 100% erasure of everything “TRANS”. The medical term is “Gender Dysphoria” and it is treatable. We must not support anyone’s delusions in a sane society.
Not Compromising
Conservative Legislation
All too often we hear “this is just a starter bill” or “you have to give a little to get a little”. When you hold a super majority, meaning the Republican Party controls the house and the senate, we should be pushing conservative legislation and getting it passed. When sloppy bills are passed, we all pay the price. I don’t know about you, but the price is getting a lot higher than I am comfortable paying and that is why I have decided to run for office.

My name is John Beatty, and I am your candidate for SC House District 58.
SC Title 6 - Local Government Section 6-31-10 (3)
Because the development approval process involves the expenditure of considerable sums of money, predictability encourages the maximum efficient utilization of resources at the least economic cost to the public.
This State Law seems to be overlooked when development planning is underway. Specifically, the part that says, “at the least economic cost to the public”. Now more than ever, we need open communications between the state and the counties/cities to determine whether continued growth is a great economic burden or the least of a burden. That is where I come in… My name is John Beatty and I will work hard to ensure that new development is determined by the amount of infrastructure in place to serve our current and new residents.

Campaign Finance
Campaign funding has been a big topic as of late. Who are the big donors? Why did they donate to a particular campaign? One of the great things about the ethics filing webpage is the ability to see who is donating and where they work. This information is important to have for transparency purposes. As for my campaign, I am looking for donors from within our communities. It is important to me that you know who controls my vote, and that someone is you. My name is John Beatty and I only need your help to win back our seat in Columbia!
